Reminder To Applicants In Louisiana's Motion Picture Incentive Program

August 14, 2014

As a reminder, processing times are set in state law as follows:

  • Applications- Initial certification or denial letters shall be issued within 60 days of receipt of a complete application.
  • Final Certification – Final certification or denial letters shall be issued within 120 days of receipt of the audit and all requested documentation.

All applications and requests for final certifications are processed in the order they are received. In most cases we are issuing our determinations well before the statutory timeframe has elapsed. We strive to issue all determinations as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I sincerely appreciate your continued support of Louisiana Entertainment.
