ASCAP-Music Unites Us
ASCAP has put together a list of resources for artists to stay healthy, creative, connected and financially stable during the COVID-19 pandemic.
American Federation of Musicians
80,000 musicians comprise the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada. Members perform in orchestras, backup bands, festivals, clubs and theaters—both on Broadway and on tour. AFM members also make music for films, TV, commercials and sound recordings. AFM is the largest union of musicians in the world.
Artist Relief Project
Any adult individual actively pursuing the arts as a career (any discipline, any level of experience) whose income has been impacted by event and venue closures is eligible to apply for financial support from the Artist Relief Project. They offer both short and long-term assistance for impacted artists.
CERF+ Music Assistance
A studio artist’s career has its own set of ups and downs. Some are predictable, others are unexpected. CERF+ wants to ensure that an artist's career is able to sustain both. CERF+ envisions providing a safety net of resources and support to protect and sustain an artist's livelihood, studio and art.
Creative Capital
Creative Capital is a nonprofit organization that has awarded more than $50 million to artists for the creation of groundbreaking new work in the visual arts, performing arts, literature, film, technology, and multidisciplinary practices, including socially-engaged work in all forms. They also provide professional development programs, networking opportunities, and educational resources for arts communities around the world.
International Bluegrass Music Association
The IBMA is the non-profit music association that connects, educates, and empowers bluegrass professionals and enthusiasts, honoring tradition and encouraging innovation in the bluegrass community worldwide.
Jazz Foundation of America
The Jazz Foundation works to provide emergency assistance, create work opportunities, and financial support to musicians and their families during times of crisis.
League of American Orchestras
The League of American Orchestras leads, supports, and champions America’s orchestras and the vitality of the music they perform. Its diverse membership of more than 1,800 organizations and individuals across North America runs the gamut from world-renowned orchestras to community groups.
Live Nation-Crew Nation
Crew Nation is providing monetary grants to those touring and venue crews who are facing hardship during the pandemic and beyond.

MusiCares provides support for a variety of life crises. Medical, dental, mental health, insurance, substance abuse or eviction concerns are all areas that the organization supports.
Music Covid Relief
A collection of resources for music professionals to access information and applications for receiving COVID-19 benefits and support. This includes how to receive unemployment, small business loans, advances, and loan forgiveness, potential grants and other additional resources.
Musicians Foundation
Musicians Foundation provides aid that enables performers, educators, composers, and arrangers to continue pursuing their artistic process and vision. As the oldest non-profit of its kind in the United States, Musicians Foundation is dedicated to assisting musicians and their families, in times of emergency, crisis, or transition.
National Endowment for the Arts
Through partnerships with state arts agencies, local leaders, other federal agencies, and the philanthropic sector, the Arts Endowment supports arts learning, affirms and celebrates America’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, and extends its work to promote equal access to the arts in every community across America.
National Independent Venue Association
NIVA's mission is to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent venues and promoters throughout the United States.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc. promotes, preserves and encourages the music, culture and heritage of communities in Louisiana through festivals, programs and other cultural, educational, civic and economic activities. In service of this mission, the Foundation has developed numerous programs and assets.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund
Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. Grant recipients include recording artists, club and session musicians, composers and songwriters from across the country.
The Blues Foundation
The Blues Foundation preserves blues heritage, celebrates blues recording and performance, expands worldwide awareness of the blues and ensures the future of the uniquely American art form.
The Ella Project
Ella provides the tools for creators to compete in the modern economy by offering one on one arts business consultations, workshops, and intensive entrepreneurial training on arts marketing, organizational planning, and basic finance. Ella also provides legal services for low to moderate income artists and musicians.
